Sportymaps was founded in 2015 by designer and passionate runner Guus van Zeeland. Combining a love for design with a passion for running felt like a natural fit — and after countless ideas, sketches, and prototypes, the very first minimalist course poster was born.

What started as a simple black or white line tracing a race route quickly became something much more meaningful.
